Nigel Burvill

2021 Achievements

  • Got through five jump starts (cardioversion)

  • Grew some wicked Joe’s super long chilli peppers

  • On new Years Eve I put running gear on for the first time this year and attempted a flat 5-10 min run before midnight

2022 Aims

  • Not be last at Weald Park in a week

  • Eat only “home grown” for a month, only managed 7 days in 2021

 

Claude Valentino (Bellyboy)

2022 Aims

Training goals

  • Running rehab - 5k by February & 10K by March - 10min mile pace

  • 3 rides per week Jan -Jun: Road /MTB /Spin class /Turbo - any permutation

  • Min 2 swims/week (min 1 open water from mid May)

Performance goals

  • Ride London 100 in 5.5 hours

  • Swim Serpentine September 2 mile in 1:10 or less

 

Danny Moody

2022 Aims

Training goals

  • Train 5-6 times a week

  • Swim 2 a week

  • 1x strength session per week

Quality goals

  • One interval session a week (bike or run)

  • Learn to tumble turn properly and use at training

Performance goals

  • Complete a sub 22 minute park run/5km

  • Podium in my Age group at a local level Triathlon race (this is a hard one and will take loads of effort) I have done it twice before but I was a lot fitter!

 

Mark Tredgett

2022 Aims

  • Complete approx 6000km this year - 4800 cycling (I’m hoping I’ve been conservative here!) and 1200km running

  • Boost my FTP to hopefully increase avg speed for racing.

  • Compete in mainly sprint Duathlons and test myself in age group qualifiers.

  • Improve running race times so anticipate I will try some PBs this year

  • Take part in a middle distance Duathlon or 70.3. (depends on swim practice but am struggling to fit that in with the running and cycling
