Going for Gold!
Last year I reached a milestone birthday and decided to do a triathlon!
I had done the swim as part of a relay team at the JLL Property Triathlon the year before and thought I’d like the challenge. So, I registered for the event in February ‘23 and shortly after met a member of TSE who said I could train in the Brentwood School swimming pool with the club on a Sunday.
Eventually I went along and was welcomed by all and encouraged by everyone!
And on the big day I got a silver medal! That sounds impressive, but I should add that there are very few female property professionals of my age!
So, now the challenge! Can I get gold this year?
I’ll continue to train with TSE to try to achieve my goal. The club has athletes of all abilities and whilst I’m not up to the same standard as some, it gives motivation to keep working at the things I’m aiming to improve on and it's great to have a challenge!
